South Leicester walk

 

Another venture into South Leicester this time half way between South Wigston and Glen Parva. 
The first mile was not good along muddy slippery paths constantly watching my footing. Thankfully we came onto more solid bridleways for an easy flat walk.

As usual it did have a "this would be great in summer" feel about it, we had another muddy mile via the canal path towards the end.

Had a drink at the very historic Glen Parva manor pub, bonus got a lift back into Leicester !!!
