Midday Walk, Melbourne to Breedon on the Hill circular

 

Under normal circumstances I wouldn't have travelled for a walk of just 4 miles. But it was a new group and I had nothing else going down that day. A cancelled but meant I had to walk from east midlands airport to Melbourne hall before we even started.

Only 4 people turned up, but it was a scenic walk out past the ponds towards Breedon Hill. We thankfully took the less steep, shadier route to the top of the hill. It turned out that one of the organisers recently had heart surgery which was why the walk was only 4 miles.

On the way back we stopped at the Bulls Head pub in Wilson, before heading back to the start. Thankfully the bus turned up.
